 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a highly researched treatment intervention. It is effective in helpingpeople with mild to severe depression, anxiety, trauma, relational issues, and other mental health symptoms. Essentially, CBT explores the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Treatment includes interventions geared towards changing thinking and/or behavior patterns that have been barriers towards goals.

Functional Family Therapy (FFT)

FFT is an evidenced-based brief therapy service that includes 9-14 sessions over a three to five month period. This intervention is appropriate for families with an11-18 year old youth whose emotional or behavioral problems initiated a referral from juvenile justice, mental health, school, or DCYF. Family and community protective and risk factors are assessed and interventions are tailored to help reduce risk factors while utilizing family strengths.

Telehealth

To increase access to mental health support, services can be provided online using cameras on smartphones, laptops, computers, or tablets. My telehealth services are delivered through SimplePractice, LLC, which is a HIPAA compliant service provider.

Working Choices Inc. (WCI)

WCI is an organization based out of Renton. They receive referrals from social workers for families with open DCYF cases. For these families, I can provide Family Preservation Services (FPS), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), or Crisis Family Intervention (CFI). Currently my service area is mostly south king county and parts of pierce county.
